Beginnings (Part II)

Text: Job 8:7

Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous your future be.

Everything has its own beginnings and its beginnings seem humble. For us people, our life began with a small cell and every day, every part of our body develops and matures.

In your present life right now, it may seem insignificant but who knows you might be the next Mr. Henry Sy, or the next Bill Gates, or the next Mother Teresa, or the next Manny Pacquiao, or the next President or the next Ambassador, or the next great speaker and author, or the next sought- after musician or singer, or the next multi-awarded newscaster or  journalist, or the next number  one blogger in the whole world, or the next  great scientist, doctor, nurse, teacher, lawyer, or inventor, or the next Pastor with many branch churches in the world, or the next great philanthropist, or the next person whom God would use to bless millions of people, or the next significant person that has significant mission in the lives of  many people… or the next big star.

Zig Ziglar said, “It’s not where you start- it’s where you finish that counts.”

Beginnings are just the start. What matters most is your progress and what you would become in the future. But don’t despise your beginnings and don’t even be hopeless with your future. Entrust your life in the Master’s Hands.

Lord, help me not to despise my beginnings and help me fulfill the dreams and visions that you gave me about my future. I entrust my every beginning and my future in your hands. Amen.
